Albacete Balompié announced the signing of José Corpas Serna, right winger from SD Eibar, for the 2026-2027 season. Corpas has played 332 games in Segunda División, 40 in the 2025-26 campaign. He played for CD Linares and Linares Deportivo in the lower categories, before joining Marbella FC in 2017-18. He played 40 games and scored 9 goals, which caught the attention of teams in higher categories. In 2018, he signed for UD Almería, where he played three seasons, with 125 games and 19 goals. In the 2021-22 season, he joined SD Eibar, where he was a key player. He played 207 games and scored 24 goals, with 8 goals in the last season, including one against Albacete in Ipurúa.
